Tools and Hardware Reviews of Peltor H10A Optime 105 Over-the-Head EarmuffCustomer Review: TV Summary: 5 StarsWith these on, the TV in the room is silent. And they're so comfortable, especially after overbending the band a bit. Well worth the few extra bucks over a cheaper model.
Customer Review: Not "noise canceling", but great for yardwork Summary: 5 StarsI'm not sure why these are called "noise canceling", since there is no active noise canceling involved - just foam padding. However, they do a great job of reducing the noise from my lawn equipment while mowing the lawn.
Customer Review: Good as advertised and reviewed Summary: 4 StarsVery comfortable and light. The only reason for a lack of 5star rating is the flimsiness of the bands, just something to be aware when handling and storing.
Customer Review: its like my neighbor's dog doesnt exist.... Summary: 4 Starswhile these are great noise cancellers, i wouldnt buy them if youre looking for something to wear while relaxing/sleeping. They might be comfortable enough for work but not so much for laying about and DEFINITELY not for sleeping, they are too bulky and basically restrict any head movement while laying down
Customer Review: Look No Further Summary: 5 StarsThese are the first earmuff-style protectors I have had, and I am completely happy with them. Gasoline motors, loud shop equipment, and everything else are brought down to a comfortable level. I have used these regularly for a year or so, and they are as good as new in spite of some careless handling on my part.
I do have to agree with other reviewers that "noise canceling" is misleading. There is no active cancellation, just good attenuation.
